| Abstract: | This paper suggests a simple and convenient method to assign R/S Configuration in cyclic compounds. The method is based on the supposition that bonds of cyclic componds will be broken in proper places so as to turn cyclic compounds into chain structure which is in conformity with the Fischer projection formula. The article also aims at popularizing the convenient way of assigning R/S configuration of chain compounds and promoting it application to the structure of cyclic compounds. |
