在当代，世界各国之间综合国力的竞争，实际上是科技实力的竞争，是科技创新的广度和深度的竞争，而科技创新的关键是具备良好素质和高度创新能力的人才。本文首先分析了科技创新的基本涵义，接着重点分析了当代科技创新的主要特点，如高度的探索性、创新性、复杂性或综舍性、交叉性或渗透性、智能性和密集性等，并指出了当代科技创新人才应具备的创造性的素质和修养，最后，论述了加强科技创新人才培养的对策。

In the contemporary era, the competition of integrated nation strength among countries in the world is in fact the competition of science and technology strength and of science and technology innovation width and depth. The key of science and technology innovation is the talent who are qualified with fine quality and ability of innovation. Then it analyses the main characteristics of contemporary science and technology innovation emphatically, such as the characteristics of exploration, innovation, complexity or integration, intersection or permeability, intelligence and denseness.
