| 摘 要： | 通过对比喻内涵和外延的具体分析，指出修辞的本质是艺术，修辞学属于艺术学而不属于语言学。因此，修辞学应加强自身的“四化”建设：理论上的科学化、实践上的艺术化、教育上的素质化、学术上的民主化。从而为提高自身的科学品位，推动交际艺术的广泛应用，配合语文教育的深化改革，创造繁荣昌盛的文化氛围作出应有的贡献。
