| 摘 要： | 非语言符号作为对语言符号不足的补充,起到了有效的辅助传达交际信息的作用.它的主要特点为普遍性、形象性、隐含性和多维性.主要阐述非语言符号的主要特点及其在英语教学中的功能,目的在于提高英语教学工作者对非语言符号的重视,从而进一步改进语言教学工作.

| Abstract: | Non-linguistic symbols, as a complement to verbal symbols, serves as an effective means to help transmit communicative information. Its main features can be concluded as universality, vividness, implication and multi-dimensionality. This paper mainly discusses the features of non-linguistic symbols and their influence on English teaching. It aims to call attention of English teachers to non-linguistic symbols and therefore help improve language teaching. |
