Abstract:In this paper, the synthesis of Di(iso octyl) phthalate (DOP) was catalysted by the solid super acid TiO 2/SO 2- 4 taking the place of conc. H 2SO 4. The influence of esterification such as the calcining temperature and the adding amount of the catalyst, the mole ratio of reactants and the esterifying time length on the conversion of DOP were also investigated.
