摘    要:为得到IEEE 802.11DCF在全互连网络饱和情况下的功耗,采用"盒子-球"模型对报文碰撞问题进行了研究.通过将发送结点的状态变化看作一个状态有限的一维马尔可夫过程,运用一种基于虚发送周期和平均竞争窗口概念的方法分析了IEEE 802.11DCF的功耗性能.结果表明,报文长度、信道速率等因素对协议功耗性能只有微弱影响;结点数达到一定程度之后,协议功耗主要由接收功耗决定,与发送功耗关系不大.

Abstract:To achieve the power-consumption of IEEE 802.11DCF in a saturated wireless LAN environment, a box-ball model is used to resolve the packet transmission collision probability of active stations. By approximating the state transition of active stations as a finite-state one-dimension Markovian process, the power-consumption performance of IEEE 802.11DCF is analyzed based on the concepts of virtual transmit period and average contention window. Results show that packet length and channel rate only has marginal effects on the average power-consumption of the protocol. When stations in the network are some few, the average power-consumption level of the protocol is mainly detennined by the receive power of the station, and it has little relevance to the transit power.
