An Ecological and Cultural Study on the Farm Implements of North China

With an ecological and cultural research into the farm implements of north China since modern times,the authors come to the conclusion that farm implements are the result of farmers adapting themselves to ecological environment,and that there is abundant social information implied in the farm implements and in the customs of using them.Integrated into the rural social life,farm implements present and produce a series of power relations.
