部分相干光经透镜聚焦后的光束整形

摘    要:目的研究部分相干光束经透镜聚焦后的光束整形技术。方法从广义惠更斯-菲涅尔衍射积分方程(Collins公式)出发,证明了光强分布为高斯型分布的部分相干光束经透镜聚焦,在几何焦点附近的光强分布强烈依赖于部分相干光束的空间相干度。基于这一点,可以直接控制部分相干光的空间相干度来获得想要的光强分布。结果通过选择合适的相干度形式能够获得部分相干平顶光束或部分相干空心光束。结论部分相干光束的光束整形研究为潜在的应用,如材料处理,光学治疗、原子光学等,提供了一个新的光束整形的方法。

Abstract:Aim The beam shaping technique of the partially coherent beams focused by a lens is investigated.Methods Starting from the generalized Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral(Collins formula),it is demonstrated that when a partially coherent beam with a Gaussian intensity distribution is focused by a lens,the intensity distribution near geometrical focus is strongly dependent upon the spatial coherence.Based on this,the desired intensity distribution near the focus can be generated by choosing appropriate form of spatial coherence.Results It is shown that the partially coherent flat-topped intensity distribution at the geometrical focus or a partially coherent bottle beam can be produced by choosing appropriate forms of spectral degree of coherence.Conclusion This research for beam shaping of the partially coherent beam offers new schemes for potential applications such as material processing,optical therapy and atom optics etc.
