| Abstract: | The changes in soil behaviour,the natural state of groundwater, and the effective stress of soil will be caused by dewatering. These changes will affact lateral earth pressure which acts on braced structure. The changed situations of lateral earth pressure caused by groundwater seepage,the change of strength parameter, and the change of free water surface are studied in this paper, so these influence factors are considered in the braced structural digin. |
