浅析流行文化在英语教学中的作用及应用

大学校园是文化传播的宝地,同样是流行文化集中的地方。大学生是接受并传播流行文化的主力军,因为流行文化让他们内心充满快乐,同时又有一种满足感,通过流行文化他们可以充分表达自己的思想、观点和喜好,并以一定的方式渲泄内在的情绪与不满。尤其是近几年随着西方文化的不断引入,以各种形式出现的外国语言文化对学生的影响越来越深刻。既然,流行文化对学生有如此大的影响,又如此易于被学生所接受,那么我们就可以把流行文化合理地运用到教学之中来,与英语教学相结合,以期提高英语教学的效果。

Improve the English Teaching Effects by Using Popular Culture Effectively

Campus is a treasure yard for culture spreading and a concentration place for popular culture. College students are the main force for popular culture accepting and spreading , because it makes them happy and satisfied in their hearts. At the same time , they can express their ideas,opinions and love through popular culture, and let their discontent off. Especially in the recent years, as the western culture is introduced, all kinds of foreign languages and culture have more and more influences on college students. Based on the above factors , we can apply popular culture to our English teaching practice in order to improve English teaching effects.
