| Abstract: | The higher vocational English teaching faces such problems as students'poor foundation in English,unsuitable testbooks and teachers'inadequate teaching capabilities.In order to solve the problems the teachers'quality should be enhanced,the development of students'self-study abilities should be strengthened and English degree examination should be greatly introduced. |
