南宋光宗绍熙二年至五年,辛弃疾在福建任职近三年,先福建刑狱后知福州兼福建安抗使。在闽期间,尽管心情复杂,阻力重重,但在为政、为文方面都表现了其一贯的爱国情怀。当然,其爱国情怀也带着明显的历史局限。

Xin Qiji's Patriotism When He Was in Fujian

From the second year to the fifth year of the Shaoxi Reign of the Southern Song Dynasty, Xin Qiji worked in Fujian for three years first as head of the provincial court and then as administrator of Fuzhou and provincial consoling officer. During his stay in Fujian, he was heavy-hearted because of obstruction and frustration, but remained patriotic as usual in administration and writing though his patriotic thoughts and feelings had obvious historical limitations.
