| 摘 要： | 英语中的“形合”和汉语中的“意合”现象是英汉语言对比研究的重要课题。它们与英汉民族的文化特征及思维方式有着密切的关系。英语民族重理性分析而汉语民族重整体领悟,反映在语言上则英语重“形合”而汉语重“意合”,即英语语言注重形式逻辑,语法较严格;汉语语言形散神聚,注重心领神会。

| Abstract: | The hypotaxis in English and parataxis in Chinese is the significant distinctive characteristics of the composition of the two languages,which is an important subject in the comparative study of English and Chinese languages.It has close relationships with the cultures and thought patterns between English and Chinese nations.The English nation stresses the reason and analysis and the Chinese nation emphasizes the intuition and synthesis,which,reflect in the two languages,are that English is hypotactic and Chinese is paratactic. |
