| Abstract: | A velocity control system of measurement carrier is developed by taking an AC frequency converter as its basis and its design strategy, design scheme, and system configuration are discussed. It is shown by experiment that this system makes the measurement carrier start smoothly with less overshoot, enter quickly into steady state condition with short tuning period, and brake smoothly over a short distance. |
