频率域自适应图像压缩算法的改进与研究

提出了一种基于3D-DCT变换的自适应彩色图像压缩算法。该算法主要采用部分块的3D-DCT变换并得到峰值信噪比,进而与给定的峰值信噪比进行比较,通过门限、量化、游程编码以及编码块大小的自适应的方法来达到给定的要求,并使用软件对部分算法进行了仿真,证明该算法在追求高压缩比的情况下也保证了较好的峰值信噪比。

The Research on and Improvement of Adaptive Image Compression Algorithm Based on Frequency Domain

This paper presents an adaptive color image compression algorithm based on 3D-DCT transform.The algorithm mainly uses some parts of the 3D-DCT transform coefficients and gets PSNR （peak signal noise ratio）that is further compared with given PSNR, then adaptively changes threshold, quantization, run length coding and the coding block size to achieve the given requirements.And the simulation of partial algorithms by using the software proves that the algorithm can ensures a better PSNR under the situation of persuing a high compression ratio.
