Analysis on the Present Situation of and Countermeasures for the Development of Public Libraries and Public Cultural Facilities in Taiyuan City

In the course of the development of modern cities, the construction and distribution of public libraries are the important basis for reflecting cities’overall cultural development strategy. Along with the speeding up of the work life rhythm, people’s demand for culture is imperative. So, creating the public cultural circle has become a new trend of developing the cultural strategy. This paper expounds the present situation of the construction and development of public libraries in Taiyuan City, probes into some problems existing in the construction and management of public libraries in Taiyuan City, and puts forward some solutions.
