湘西山区土壤侵蚀防治措施探讨

通过对湘西地区山地面积广大、山高坡陡、土壤侵蚀十分严重的现状进行分析,认为水土流失严重的原因主要是该地区人口的激剧增加,人多地少的矛盾日益突出,为了扩大耕地,人们盲目地在陡坡毁林开荒的结果；湘西自治州广泛存在的大面积陡坡开垦正是今天土壤侵蚀严重的重要根源.指出结合湘西地区的实际,综合运用生物、工程和耕作措施是防治水土流失的最有效途径.

Research on approaches to the prevention of soil corrosion in Xiangxi autonomous prefecture

Xiangxi Mao and Tujia Autonomous Prefecture is located in the middle of Wuling mountains,east of Yungui plat- eau.Within the territory,the mountains are high and steep,and cover the largest area.The problem of land scarcity has become more and more serious with the quick increase in population since hberaltion.In order to get enough farmland,people have blindly opened up farmland from slopes,thus destroying forests and other vegetation,so soil corrsion has become worse and worse.It is no doubt that the root of severe soil corrosion at present stems from the exsiting development of farmlands from solpes all over Xiangxi Auton- omous Prefecture.To prevent soil corrosion,it is proved that it is necessary to adopt the comprehensive biological projection and to adjust the cultivation approaches in line with the actual surroundings in the prefecture so that the goal of environmental improvement can be reached.
