Zhang Yong,a famous official in the Northern Song Dynasty,was a legendary person,who was a man of both literary and military capacities. His political achievements were well-known in that dynasty and later on. He was a chivalrous person but also a famous Confucian scholar. His thoughts were Confucian-oriented,and supplemented by the chivalrous feature. The thesis studies his lifetime and literature works to explore his political thoughts,which were Confucian-oriented and chivalry-supplemented.
