X86平台上Linux的低级初始化过程分析

X86平台上的Linux的初始化过程大体上可以分成两个大的部分,一个是与平台紧密相关、用汇编语言编写的低级初始化过程,另一个则是用C语言编写、与平台无关的高级初始化过程。本文主要结合初始化程序的一般的编写要求以及IntelX86平台对初始化过程的一些硬性要求展开分析,着重展示内核是如何被装载进内存并开始进行各种必要的初始化、最终过渡到高级初始化阶段的全过程。

Study on the Linux Low Level Initialization on X86 Platform

The initialization of Linux on the X86platform can be divided into two major parts,one is the low-level initial process which is platform-dependent greatly and programmed by the assemble language,the other is the high-level initial one which is platform-independent and programmed by th e C language.This article analyzes the initial process associating with the normal require for writing OS initial program and some of the rigid requests about the initial process on the Intel X86platform.The emphasis is to show the full view how the kernel is loaded into the memory and begin to do the necessary jobs to transmit to the high-level initial stage.
