| 摘 要： | 作为当今世界上使用最广泛的语言，当代英语为了适应时代和人们交际的需求，出现了一些新的变化和走势。具体体现在语音的演变异化，词汇的吐故纳新，语法的简洁实用以及与其它语言有机融合等方面。这一发展将使新世纪的英语更加富有魅力。
