| Abstract: | By means of mathematical statistics, the common error distribution characteristics in machine- building system are analyzed in this article and the limitation of traditional dimension tolerance is demon strated thereafter. It is shown that setting a limit on statistical tolerance can ensure a proper fit of parts with each other and, consequently, the quality of products. |
