| 摘 要： | “多余人”形象是世界文学人物画廊中的典型。《儒林外史》中的杜少卿就是当时社会的“多余人”。杜少卿成为“多余人”的原因既在于乐善好施、仗仪疏财的性格，更在于其追求的儒家的政治礼乐理想。这一形象的深层意义在于对社会的叛离和觉醒，表现为对封建等级制度的反叛，对个人自由的向往与追求。

| Abstract: | The figure of superfluous person is typical of the world literary figures of the art gallery. Mr. Du Shaoqing in Scholars is a superfluous person in the society at that time. He became ＂a superfluous person＂not only because of his kindness and generosity but also beacause of his pursuit of the Confucian ideal of political music. The significance of this image is the betrayal and the awakening to the society, manifested in the rebel feudal hierarchy against, and the hunger and pursuit for individual liberty. |
