| Abstract: | The polar coordinates in the period from 1900 to 1976 are analysed by the method of harmonic analysis and the characteristics of the annular motion of the pole and the free Chandler wobble are obtained. It is shown that the existence of multi-year variation of the annular polar motion and the conic curve relationship between the period and the amplitude of free Chandler wobble are two important characteristics of the polar motion. |
