介质光学厚度对光子晶体透射峰带宽的影响

摘    要:利用传输矩阵法理论,研究介质光学厚度对一维光子晶体(CBA),(ABC),透射峰带宽的影响,结果发现:介质光学厚度对光禁带中的透射峰带宽的影响规律明显,当A层介质的光学厚度增大时,透射峰带宽变宽;当分别增大B或者c层介质光学厚度时,透射峰带宽却均变窄;透射峰带宽对各介质光学厚度的响应灵敏度不同,尤其是对c层介质光学厚度的响应最为灵敏,而对A和B层光学厚度的响应灵敏度相当。介质光学厚度对透射峰带宽的这种影响规律,可为光子晶体设计不同频率范围的高品质光学滤波器和光开关等提供理论指导。

Effect of the Optical Thickness of Medium on Transmission Bandwidths of Photonic Crystal Peaks

Abstract:The effect of the optical thickness of medium on transmission bandwidth of one - dimensional photonic crystals (CBA)5 (ABC)5 was studied with the transfer matrix method. The results show that there is an obvious law of the influence of the optical thickness of medium on the transmission peak bandwidth of optical forbid- den bands. When A - layer of the medium optical thickness increases, the transmission peak bandwidth is wid- ened; when increasing B -layer, or C -layer, respectively, the transmission peak bandwidths are both narrowed. Response sensitivity of transmission peak bandwidth to each optical thickness of medium is different. It is most sen- sitive to C - layer of the optical thickness of the medium and is equally sensitive to layer A and layer B. The law of the influence of the optical thickness of medium on transmission peak bandwidths can provide theoretical guidance to photonic crystals' design of high quality optical filters and optical switches of different frequency ranges.
