| Abstract: | Frankenstein is not only a literary work cleverly plotted, but also a philosophical one with insightful meanings. By exploring the philosophical relationship between God and science, Mary Shelley, the author, expresses her conflicting sentiments towards God and science, and thus exposes the impact of science on the God-centered value pattern. Taking a philosophical view of the work, we may develop a fresh understanding of its characters and its significance in science fiction. |
