Discussion on the Revolution of the Cataloging Work under the Digitalized Environment

This paper probes into the revolution faced by the cataloging work under the digitalized environment,and points out that the cataloging concept will be transformed from that of paying attention to the physical form of the literature into that of paying attention to the relation between the contents of the literature and the literature,the most ideal cataloging case should be the publisher,and the catalogers will not only be primary processors but also the developers and navigators of information resources.
