CONTRIBUTION TO THE ANTAGONISM OF TRACE ELEMENTS

In the present paper, the hypothesis concerning the bioantagonistic mechanism of trace elements are proposed and 4 different types of antagonistic mechanism and 8 subtypes have been classified on the basis of the antagonistic phenomena and the modes of antagonism respectively. The results have led to the explanation of the antagonism of a number of trace elements so far observed and the prediction for the existence of some new antagonistic relations. However, the validity of these deduced hypotheses concerning antagonism of trace elements must be tested further in practice.
