| 摘 要： | 苏联生物学家、遗传学家尼古拉.瓦维洛夫(НиколайИвановичВавилов)和他的胞弟、物理学家谢尔盖.瓦维洛夫(СергейИвановичВавилов)同是苏联科学院院士。他们都在自己的学科领域达到了当时的世界一流水平。由于苏联当局的科学技术政策急功近利,致使尼古拉.瓦维洛夫及他所研究的生物学、遗传学被彻底毁灭,而谢尔盖.瓦维洛夫荣升苏联科学院院长,苏联物理学也避免了一场劫难。

| Abstract: | Soviet biologist Nikolai Vavilov and his younger brother,a physicist Sergei Vavilov had been elected as academicians of Academy of Sciences in the Soviet Union because of their cutstanding achievements.Since science and technology policies of Soviet Union were profit-oriented,resulting in Nikolai Vavilov and his studied biology,genetics has been completely destroyed,but Sergei Vavilov was president of the Soviet Academy of Sciences,Soviet physics has also avaided a catastrophe. |
