| Abstract: | Hepatocytes isolated from streptozotocin treated Rats bind less asialotransferrin than hepatocytes isolated from normal rats. This decrease is parallel with a decrease in the sialic acid content. Insulin therapy restored simultaneously membrane sialic acid content and asialotransferrin binding capacity. |
