大学英语课堂对习语教学的文话导入

摘    要:英语习语具有结构固定性、语义整体性和不透明性等特点,诸如地理,历史,宗教,和习俗等多种文化因素渗透在这一领域,使得英语习语是外语学习中的最难点之一,通常具有良好英语水平的外语学习者们在英语习语的掌握上却相当薄弱。虽然文化导入在语言教学中已经使用得较为普遍,但在习语教学中还未受到足够的重视,教材中的习语以及与习语相关的材料也极为匮乏。因此应用文化导入的教学模式将文化知识循序渐进地引入到大学英语习语教学中,使课堂文化教学进一步深化,有助于学生对中西方思维方式、文化差异以及社会观念的差异作进一步了解,从而达到提高英语交际能力的目的。通过本文中的调查研究,作者试图找到在中国大学英语教学中能帮助学习者们掌握英语习语的有效途径。

Abstract:Being an important part of language,English idioms lot of concerned with the western culture and play an essential role in native speakers dally communication.Because of the learners inadequate knowledge in conventional aspect,English idioms cause mistakes or misunderstanding while the Chinese try to communicate with the native speakers.Therefore,whenever we learn an English idiom,we must note the cultural differences between English and Chinese.So in this essay,the author will design questionnaires and pre/posttest on English idioms in order to make clear students difficulties in learning idioms with less cultural knowledge background and teachers role in teaching English idioms from cultural perspective in college EFL classrooms.
