| Abstract: | Proverbs are the germ of a language. "The genius, wit and spirit of a nation are discovered in its proverbs." Well-translated Chinese proverbs have contributed a lot to the enrichment of the English language and culture, however, it's not a easy task to translate accurately due to the differences between the two cultures. |
