摘    要:本文介绍了利用PWM方法进行同步发电机励磁的工作原理,分析了电路特性,给出了设计的基本方法.实验表明PWM方法比可控硅励磁具有更好的动态特性,可靠性亦较高.

Abstract:The excitation of a synchronous machine with PWM technique is described. The circuit behaviour is discussed and the basic design methods are given. Test results show that the dynamic response of the PWM excitation system is better than that of the silicon controlled rectifier excitation one and is more reliable. The whole system is composed of a saw-tooth generator, a PI controller, a comparator, a driver, a switching transistor and a PT, the most important unit is the driver which guarantees that the switching transistor will turn on and turn off correctly and promptly so that the whole excitation system will operate properly.
