| Abstract: | Romantic novels in the Republic of China, which are the demonstration texts of Chinese society＇s modernization, and the reflection of Chinese society＇s transforming process from closed society to open one and from traditional society to modern one. Its modernity are mainly embodied in the following aspects expression of pursuing freedom of love and marriage in modern society; demonstration of living states from the angles of ordinary people and exploration of changing of artistic forms in the process of novels＇ modernization. |
