| Abstract: | A direct potential measurement of the activity of bound ATPase has been achieved with beef heart submitochondrial particles adhering to a thick phospholipidic membrane. Electric signals (90 mV amplitude) were found to be fully sensitive to ATPase inhibitors and uncouplers. |
