《"后生可畏"新解》辨讹

韩府《“后生可畏”新解》文释“后生可畏”为:“一个人的未来的光阴是不可低估和忽视的”。然其所有证据与其所得结论不构成唯一必然的因果关系,我们可从《论语》中找出许多与之相反的例证来,以证其诬。同时现存先秦、秦汉时的典籍中,无一例可用来佐证《新解》主观解释是正确的,相反类似于传统对“后生”一词的用法却很多。故而今人不宜故作标新立异来哗众取宠,轻率判定传统解释有误。

A Distinction and Correction to Han Fu's "New Interpretation on the Phrase HOU SHEN KE WEI in The Analects"

In his article "New Interpretation on 'HOU SHEN KE WEI (The Young Should Inspire one with Respect)' ", Han Fu translates the phrase HOU SHEN KE WEI as "one's future can't be underrated and neglected". However, all of the evidences and his conclusion failed to prove the so-called causality. We could find out many contrary proofs from The Analects instead. Moreover, even from those classical works written in the periods of pre-Qin Dynasty or Qin-han dynasties, no evidence could prove Han's interpretation, on the contrary, HOU SHEN as a phrase was frequently used. The author in this paper think that we should be practical and realistic, and try to avoid imprudently negating traditional hermeneutic.
