西部公务员的法律素质调查

法律素质道德素质是现代公民必备的基本人文素质之一。依据中国公民人文素质调查项目,对中国西部6个省市(广西、四川、贵州、云南、重庆、西藏)的公务员群体共计797名对象的法律素质进行了比较全面的分析,结果表明:西部公务员群体的法律素质是比较好的;公检法公务员群体的法律素质高于行政公务员群体;西部公务员群体的法律素质水平高于西部全体公民。并对形成公务员法律素质状况的原因进行了分析,提出了加强公务员队伍法制教育的建议。

Investigation on the Legal Quality of Western Civil Servants in China

Legal quality and moral quality are both one of the basic humanistic qualities that modern citizens must possess. According to the investigation project for citizen humanistic quality in China, 797 subjects of civil servants from 6 provinces and cities in China west: Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Chongqing and Tibet are investigated for their legal qualities. The results show that the legal quality of civil servant in China west is relatively good, the legal quality of civil servant in public security organs is better than that of administrative civil servants, and the legal quality of civil servant in China west is better than that of the whole citizens in China west. The causes for the legal quality of civil servant in China west are analyzed, and suggestions of strengthening legal education for civil servant are made.
