| Abstract: | The interference pattern of a cross-grating interferometer is analyzed by the so-calledeffective source approach.To the first-order approximation,the fringer are found to bewavelength indepedent.It is also found that a cross-gratinglike structure is localized in aplane disregarding the source position. |
