| Abstract: | The improved formulation proposed in this paper, solves all the problems in dealing with the comparison of different ac-dc right of way additions, discrete nature of line and investment and the general difficulties of temporary connections. This new approach makes it possible to solve large scale problems. A sample study is shown and the method is implemented in a computer program. |
