| Abstract: | The story which the king of Wuji State was murdered by his brother in Pilgrimage to the West was under the influence of the legend of Hamlet, prince of Denmark, in European history. It's helpful to comprehend the cultural difference between China and the West with parallel studies by comparing Pilgrimage to the West to Shakespeare's Hamlet. |
