从高校大学英语教学改革谈如何促进英语教师专业发展

高校教师专业素养的提升,随着我国高校教学改革的不断深入而越来越引起广泛关注。如何加强高校英语教师自身的专业发展,高校如何加强对英语教师的专业培训,在我国大学英语教学改革的新形势下就显得更为重要。结合皖西学院的大学英语教学改革,从教师专业发展的内涵、发展方向和发展途径三个方面阐述了促进大学英语教师专业发展的基本途径。

A Study of Professional Development for EFL Teachers in China

At present,a critical problem for raising the education quality of the universities in our country is to promote teachers＇ professional development.Facing the new challenge and new circumstances of reform of Chinese college English,we all know it is essential that how to strengthen self-professional development of English teachers and reinforce the training of college teachers and how to train English teachers in professional ways.For these reasons,in this paper,three parts have be discussed,namely connotation,direction and solutions of teachers＇ professional development.
