| Abstract: | 3517 motorcycle accidents occurring from 1985 to 1989 in Guangzhou city were analysed.40 percent of motorcyclists in accidents were drivers,and 34 percent were workers,peasants and individual operators.There was a negative linear trend relationship between the age of motorcyclists as well as licensing years and motorcycle collisions.The risk population of mortorcycle accidents were young people with shorter licensing years.The author suggests that strengthen- ing traffic safety education for the motocyclists and raising minimum licensing age would decrease the motorcycle accidents. |
