| Abstract: | The article has explicated the main instances of buddhist cultural communication between Chinese monks and Japanese monks during the period of Sung dynasty with the conclusion. that buddhist cultural communication was very an important part in the cultural communication between China and Japan, without which there could have been no cultural communication between the two countries. |
