一种基于粗细定位相结合的车牌定位方法

摘    要:对车牌区域的准确定位是实现自动车牌识别的一个重要步骤。首先对香港车牌进行粗定位,得到一些可能的车牌区域,然后确定这些区域的精确范围,同时去除部分伪车牌,在字符提取和字符识别时进一步去除伪车牌。迭代反馈处理所有精确范围区域后,得到真正的香港车牌区域。

Abstract:Exact location of license plate in image plays an important role in automatic license plate recognition sys- tem.In this paper,firstly,Hongkong license plate has been roughly located.In this way,some possible license plate regions have been found out.Secondly,by detailedly locating the precise bound of these possibilities,parts of fake license plates can be removed.In characters division and character recognition process,the fake license plates from license plate regions are further removed.Finally,the true Hongkong license plate has been obtained after iter- ative feedback processing all license plate regions with precise bound.
