| Abstract: | Zhuanyaogou Valley is situated in Hequ County in the northwestern part of Shanxi Province. It covers an area of 30 square kilometres.The floristic composition of the vegetation contains 48 families, 136 genera, 188 species (including varieties) . According to their distribution Pattern, the total number of genera are characterized by temperature elements.A classification system of the vegetation has already been made to show natural and cultivated vegetations. The 6 natural plant formations and 5 fundamental cultivated types have been described respectively.For the purpose of future utilization and exploitation, it is important to strengthen capital coastruction of farmland and turn farmland into forest and grassland. |
