Analysis of the Necessity of SMES to Build Competitive Industry Clusters

in the background of economic globalization,how to gain a firm foothold in the international competition and expand the country’s economic strength is the highest priority of each country’s economic decision.As a promising model of economic development,enormous impetus of industry clusters on a country’s economic growth has increasingly become the world’s concern.Hence,it has been the focus of domestic and foreign academia discussion on a better playing the effects of industry cluster and scaling up its competitive edge.The paper begins with the development of SMES industry cluster in China,analyzes its competitive strengths and weaknesses,and probes into the necessity of building SMES competitive industry clusters in China.
