安徽动物地理区划

本文提出江淮分水岭作为世界动物地理区划中的古北界和东洋界在我国东部安微省的分界线。在研究安微陆栖脊椎动物区系的基础上,将全省划分为淮北平原区,江淮丘陵区、大别山区、沿江平原区及皖南山区共五个动物地理分布区、对各区中的兽类、鸟类、爬行类及两栖类,按区系组成、优势类群、珍稀和经济动物以及资源分布和利用现状,分别进行了论述。

The Zoogeographical Division of Anhui Province

1.The line between the oriental and palearctic regions in Anhui The elements of oriental and the palearctic regions in the eastern China permeate each other cover a wide terrain,it is difficult to draw a line agreed bythe authors who work no different classes of fauna, some authors consi- dered that the Changjiang River as the line between the two regions in China(21,22),the others the wathersed between Huaihe and the Changjiang Rivers (3,6,23,25) The later coincides with that pointed in the Zoogeo- graphical Divisions of China, "From Qinling, Funiu, Dabie mountains eastwards, along the south of the basin of Huaihe River,ends in Nantong- Yangzhou Canal on the north of the Changjiang River" (17). Based on the researches in avifauna for a long time, the author.considers that the line of the watershed between Huaihe and the Changjng Rivers is proper. 2. The fauna of terrestrial vertebrate of Anhui and its characters. The fauna of terestial vertebrate of Anhui is composed of 32 orders, 96 families and 509 species, it takes 24.3% of the total species of China. The characters of this fauna are; (1) Fauna of southern Anhui is mainly composed of the oriental species. that of northern Anhui the palearctic species, but the oriental species is the main composition in Anhui. (2) Most of the species are distributed in Dabie Mountains and Mountains of southern Anhui, the species increase southwards. (3) The species of Carnivora, Rodentia, and Chiropterra are the supers or species of mammals, and that of Ciconiformes, Falconiformes, Calliformes and Mauscicapidae of Passeriformes is of more domima puantity among the birds, as well as the species of waterbirds Anse- riformes, Gruiformes and Charadiriiformes. (4) Some relicts of fauna can be found in Anhui. 3, The zoogeographical division of Anhui. According to the character of faunal composition,the superior species, the commom species and species with special economic meaning of terre- strial vertebrate of Anhui, we may divide Anhui into 5 zoogeographical reslms:(1) Plain Region on the North of Huaihe River. (2) Hilly Region between the Changjiang and Huaihe Divers. (3) Mountainous Region of Dabie. (4) Plain Region along the Changjiang River. (5) Mountainous Region of southern, Anhui (Fig.1) . (1) belongs to the palearctic region, (2) - (5) belong to the oriental region.Each division is discribed in article, comparation of terrestrial vertebrate species between Anhui and Chinas howed in table 1, and that in different regions of Anhui showed in table 2.
