Abstract:Haizi cherished Van Gogh at the beginning of becoming famous and he had had near-kinship recognition of him since his creation of “to my thin brother”. It is not difficult to see the subtle influence of Van Gough's painting on Haizi's poetic creation from the two poetic image series of “the pastoral” and “the sun”. After his death, he was regarded as a myth just as Van Gough, in which varying degrees of misinterpretation or misreading were included. Perhaps only the silent “wheat” and “sunflower” truly contain the true meaning of life of the two great souls.
Keywords:Haizi  Van Gough  Poetic Burning  Death Myth
