| 摘 要： | 作为人类的一种认知模式,转喻与语言有着密不可分的关系,在词、语法以及语篇等层面上,转喻都有所表征。采用理论与实践结合的案例分析法,通过对比分析体育新闻语篇中的英汉文本,阐述转喻在英语体育新闻语篇的翻译中扮演的重要角色。研究表明,在翻译体育新闻语篇中的转喻现象时应充分考虑读者的主体地位和语篇连贯性因素,以提高翻译的质量和效率。

| Abstract: | As an important cognitive tool of human beings, metonymy is closely related with language at various levels, including lexicon, grammar, text, etc. This paper aims at demonstrating the important role metonymy plays in the translation of English sport texts by a contrastive analysis of English and Chinese versions of sport texts. It suggests that reader subjectivity and textual coherence be taken into consideration in translating English sport news in order to enhance the translation quality and efficiency. |
