| Abstract: | The paper analyses the stylistic properties of words in popular songs in respect of musical nature and literary nature. The musical nature is divided into two parts:external characteristics(such as sentence-type,rhythm,etc ) and internal characteristics; the literary nature contains two parts:external language performance (such as spoken language,strategies,rhetorical devices,etc ) and internal contents(such as image,semantic linkage). |
