磁性介质表面电磁波特征

摘    要:根据电与磁的对称性,类比于表面等离子体(SPPs)的性质,本文研究了磁性材料与介质界面的表面电磁波特征.我们称这种表面电磁波为磁表面等离子体(MSPP).本文推导了磁表面等离子体的波矢,并分析了MSPP的波长、传播距离以及穿透深度随磁性材料磁导率的变化,整理了单界面处MSPP在微波波段下的性质.

Abstract:The reason that surface plasma polaritons (SPPs) was arisen is that the conductor' s dielectric constant is negative in visible wavelengths. According to the symmetry of electric and magnetic, this paper discussed magnetic surface plasma polaritons (MSPP) which was arisen for the magnetic materials' permeability is negative in microwave frequency band. By theoretical calculation, this paper obtained the wave vector of MSPP, and analyzed the propagation length and the evanescent decay length thoroughly. Moreover, our work point out that MSPP owns the unique the polarization characteristics compared with SPPs. At last, we summarized the relationship between the above properties and magnetic permeability.
